During the Capcom Showcase at the Tokyo Game Show, we got a new look at the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC.

The Winter’s Expansion will bring a new third-person perspective to the main campaign of Resident Evil Village. Furthermore, it will come with new Mercenaries missions and stages which allow you to play as Lady D, Heisenberg and Chris Redfield.

Lady D, Heisenberg and Chris Redfield will all come with their unique weapons and abilities. However, Lady Dimitrescu has to have the best abilities, surely?! Lady D can kick some extra ass by drinking some blood from her divine wine glass and by applying some lipstick!

Finally, the expansion “Shadows of Rose” sees you revisit the village as Rose Winters 16 years after the events of the main game. It seems that The Duke is a new Lord or perhaps, he always was. Shadows of Rose also features a new enemy type called Face Eaters, which kind of look like a new form of moulded.

However, Rose is equipped with some fancy powers such as being able to freeze her enemies as well as super-healing. Given that she is super moulded of sorts. But rather than embracing her powers, Rose is looking for a cure.

The Winters Expansion is available as a standalone purchase for those that already own Resident Evil Village. A Gold Edition is also available to pre-order which includes all the DLC as well as the base game. Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition and the Winters Expansion releases on October 28th.
