Elden Ring is getting an official board game

Elden Ring is an official board game, developed by Steamforged Games.
If you’re familiar with Steamforged Games, it’s because Elden Ring will not be its first video game adaptation. In the past, they have developed board games based upon Dark Souls, Horizon Zero Dawn as well as Resident Evil.

The Elden Ring board game will be playable for 1 to 4 players and is described as a “huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters.” We can no doubt expect some excellent minis to paint.
Sherwin Matthews, the lead designer at Steamforged told Wargamer: “Elden Ring: The Board Game uses an entirely new game engine,” continued Matthews. “Elden Ring’s massive open world and the feeling of exploration was very much at the forefront of our minds during design and development of the game.”
