Much of Irrational Games was closed down in 2014, with only some of the team members remaining to keep what’s left running.  Well now Irrational Games has made a comeback under a new name, Ghost Story Games.  The studio will have 12 founding members of Irrational Games which includes creative director and very popular Ken Levine, executive producer Don Roy and art director Shawn Robertson, to name a new.  In total, Ghost Story Games will have 25 staff members to launch proceedings.

Over on the official Ghost Story Games website, they mission statement is “to create immersive, story-driven games for people who love games that ask something of them. While we believe our new games will have strong appeal to fans of BioShock, our new focus allows us to craft experiences where the gameplay is as challenging as the stories.

There’s no news as of yet as to what their future projects might be, but with such a talented team taking them forward, it’s exciting to see what’s up their sleeves.  As always, we’ll keep you posted when we hear more and you can even sign-up to the Ghost Story Games newsletter and create an account here.
