Konami has partnered with Open Bionics to launch a brand new line of prosthetic arms.

A warning for mild spoilers for a 2015 game, but in the story of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Venom Snake lost his arm and as a result had a prosthetic arm.

Albeit the prosthetic arm was equipped with James Bond-like gadgets and as far as I’m aware, these ones do not.  However they are extremely fantastic none the less.

In the video revealing the officially licensed Metal Gear Solid arm, Daniel Melvilve was sporting the new prosthetic and not only is he an avid gamer, but he’s also a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series.

Daniel said “This is unbelievable. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted from a bionic arm. I’m an avid gamer and love Metal Gear Solid so much and to actually have Snake’s arm in real life is just insane.

The officially licensed Metal Gear Solid prosthetic arm is available in both kids and adult sizes and will be available in the UK, US, France, Portugal, Holland, Russia, Australia and New Zealand.
