Pokemon Scarlet and Violet expansions announced
During this week’s Pokemon Direct event, expansions were announced for Scarlet and Violet.
The expansion in question is called The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and you’ll have to buy the expansion for each of Scarlet and Violet. It’s a shame that there’s not a season pass option that includes the expansion for both games with a discount, but it is what it is.

You’ll be able to adventure for even longer and delve even deeper into the world of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet with this DLC.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will cost you £31.49/$34.99 and will come in two parts. Part One, The Teal Mask takes you to the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip outside of the Paldea region. While part two, The Indigo Disc takes you to the Blueberry Academy as an exchange student.
Furthermore, the expansion will also include two new legendary Pokemon, Ogerpon and Terapago. What’s more, anyone that purchases the expansion via the Nintendo eShop before 31st October 2023, will receive a code for a special Hisuian Zoroark with a Dark Tera Type as well as a set of new in-game uniforms for your character.
The Teal Mask and the Indigo Disk will be released during the Fall and Winter of 2023, respectively. Will you be buying the expansions for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Let us know across our social media channels.
