Resident Evil 4 VR Is Getting Mercenaries As Free DLC

It has been reported that Resident Evil 4 VR is getting the popular Mercenaries mode as free DLC in 2022.

The Mercenaries mode has been a popular feature since the original Resident Evil 3 in 1999. While not featuring in all Resident Evil games, it has featured in a lot of them. Depending on who you might ask, each Resi fan might give you a different answer as to which is their favourite. For me personally, the Mercs in RE5 is my favourite.

However, the Mercs mode in RE4 is certainly up there and news of its arrival in RE4 VR for the Oculus Quest 2 will likely please a lot of fans. The news of the Mercs DLC was reported by UploadVR when a trailer was spotted on the Oculus YouTube channel before it was swiftly removed (or hidden).

While the trailer has been removed, it will no doubt return officially, likely very soon and when it arrives, I’ll update this article. Resident Evil 4 VR was built from the ground up and has been met with high critical acclaim and if I could afford it, it would probably be enough for me to purchase an Oculus Quest 2.
