*Release Date Update: WWE 2K18 arrives on Nintendo Switch tomorrow!

Update 08/12/17:  Well apparently the December 6th release date only applied to the digital versions of the game and the physical version actually releases on the 12th, which the press releases neglected to tell us.  However, judging by some of the videos that I’ve seen on YouTube, the Nintendo Switch version is plagued with issues, just look at one of the videos below (there are more on YouTube).  So if you’re still waiting on your pre-order, you’ve got time to reconsider until we know more about its problems.

Original Story 05/12/17: We’ve known for some time that WWE 2K18 would arrive on the Nintendo Switch late this year, but we’ve not had a confirmed release until now, a day before its big release as the game (not HHH, though he is in it of course) will arrive on the hybrid console from tomorrow.

The Nintendo Switch version of WWE 2K18 will have the customisable Universe Mode, MyCareer, the online Road to Glory mode, the Creation Suite, as well as local and online multiplayer with all the gameplay aspects as its PC, PS4 and Xbox One counterparts.

If you purchase the game digitally, you’re looking at a 32GB download size and you’ll need 1GB of storage for the system memory regardless of whether you buy physical or digital.  Just like on other formats, you’ll be able to pick-up the standard or Deluxe Edition which comes will all the season pass content.  Naturally, if you pre-ordered the game, then you’ll gain access to the pre-order DLC Kurt Angle “American Hero” and “Wrestling Machine” persona’s at no extra cost.  That content will then become available to all (at a price of course) from December 13th.

Hopefully we’ll have a review of the Nintendo Switch version, but if not, you can always check out our review of WWE 2K18 on PS4 here.  Also in the meantime, you can have ganders at some new screenshots below.
