Xbox One Release Window and Price Announced

Microsoft has officially announced that the Xbox One will release for £429/€499/$499, with a  November 2013 in 21 markets.

The company also announced that it plans to release a limited edition Xbox One bundle for customers who pre-order the console at participating retailers. The bundle will only be available while stocks last, and will guarantee you a unit when the console launches in November. It’ll come with a limited edition Xbox One controller and an exclusive Day One controller.

Also up for grabs is some special bonus DLC for the following exclusive Xbox One Day One launch titles:

  • Ryse: Son of Rome – Exclusive multiplayer map and sword with bonus attributes.
  • Forza Motorsport 5 – Access to four cars tuned to the top of their class.
  • Kinect Sports Rivals – Exclusive sporting equipment that separates your Champion from the rest of the world.
  • Dead Rising 3 – Exclusive Frank West and Chuck Greene Tribute Packs with bonus attributes.

Microsoft showed off its vast range of Xbox One games, with first party games including Project Spark, a world-building game controlled via Kinect and Smartglass, and the console’s first Halo game. Along with all the Xbox One news, a new redesign of the Xbox 360 console was announced, and is available from today in North America,

Also revealed was that the Xbox One will not use Microsoft Points for Xbox Live purchases, and that it will instead use real currency.
