God of War Ragnarok will reportedly be delayed into 2023. However, there are conflicting reports at this time.

The initial rumour comes from Gamereactor Spain, who claims that “various” sources have stated that God of War Ragnarok will be pushed back into next year.

However, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, said on ResetEra: “It’s hard to definitely prove a negative, but someone who would know first-hand just told me they haven’t heard anything about a slip to 2023, as did someone else who might know second-hand.

Obviously, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt. However, Jason Schreier is known to be very dependable. Santa Monica has also previously stated that Ragnarok will release this year.

That being said, the God of War series is no stranger to delays, so these reports would not surprise me in the slightest. Either way, hopefully, Sony will announce a release date in the coming months.
