Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports reportedly to be announced
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports for the Nintendo Switch are reported to be announced soon.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard these rumours. In truth, it feels like every other Nintendo Direct event is announced, Zelda leads the way in the rumour mill. However, perhaps this time, it could actually happen.
Wind Waker and Twilight Princess already had HD ports for the Wii U, however, fans have been longing for Switch ports for quite some time. Yet, according to Mike Minotti and Jeff Grubb of GamesBeat, the two Switch ports could be announced during a “Zelda blowout” at a currently unannounced Nintendo Direct this month.
“100% there is a Nintendo Direct in September,” said Grubb. “I think there’s going to be a lot of Zelda stuff at this thing, I think this is going to be a Zelda blowout for Nintendo.”
Hopefully, these rumours will go true, because I’d love to play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on the go with the Nintendo Switch. Do you think both ports will be announced for the Nintendo Switch this month? Let’s speculate across our social media channels.
