The Mythical duo of Arceus and Darkrai are available now in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The duo will be available via the free 1.3.0 update which you can download right now. However, it won’t be as simple as downloading the update to acquire these Pokemon.

To acquire Arceus in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you must have a save file for Pokemon Legends: Arceus on your Nintendo Switch. You must also have finished all the main missions.

Then enter the Hall of Fame and claim the National Pokedex in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Now, return to your bedroom, pick up the Azure Flute (available via the update). Then travel to the top of Mount Coronet and play it on the Spear Pillar. Once played, Arceus will appear! Then the battle is on!

For Darkrai, you will also once again need a save file of Pokemon Legends: Arceus on your Switch and have finished all main missions. You must also acquire the Member Card which can be claimed between the new moons via the Mystery Gift. Then enter the Hall of Fame to pick up the National Pokedex and go. Pick up the Azure Flute, travel to Newmoon Island, play some music and the battle will be on.
