Cartoon Network Is Releasing a Sidescrolling Brawler Starring Some of Your Favourites
When it comes to videogames based on Cartoon Network properties, the output for mobile devices has been full of fun entries. Unfortunately that can’t be said for the releases on consoles, which have been mediocre at best. However, it seems that someone wants to try and make a difference with that and their way of doing it is with a delightfully old school side-scrolling brawler.
Deciding that one IP isn’t enough developers Magic Pockets, they are putting in some of Cartoon Network’s most popular characters into one game. This includes Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, Uncle Grandpa, Gumball, Clarence, Steven Universe and Mordecai and Rigby from Regular Show. There will be more characters popping up in other forms, but whether anymore will be playable is yet to be seen, but there is a nice teaser trailer to see at the bottom of the page.
Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is out on November 8th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS. Hopefully it will be a much needed positive entry on consoles for Cartoon Network.
