GoldenEye 007 comes to Xbox and Nintendo Switch this week
N64 classic, GoldenEye 007 comes to Xbox and Nintendo Switch this week, finally!
Rumours of GoldenEye 007 coming to modern consoles have been around for years, whether it be a remaster or straight port. The version released looks to be a straight port, so it will be interesting to see how it plays on modern controllers, rather than the very unique N64 controller.
Mark your calendars: GoldenEye 007 is set to launch on @XboxGamePass on January 27th! The countdown begins now – only two days until you get to experience Dam with an Xbox controller for the first time. pic.twitter.com/MzLXJxV9BV

For Xbox, GoldenEye 007 will be available via Game Pass and the Rare Replay library. As for Nintendo players, it will be available via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Both will arrive on Friday, 27th January.
Both versions will be in HD, however, the Xbox version will be up to 4K on the Series X|S. However, while the Switch version will feature local and online multiplayer, the Xbox versions will only be local. Naturally, the Xbox version will have its own set of Achievements to acquire.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like GoldenEye 007 will be coming to PlayStation, well at least anytime soon. Will you be playing some classic GoldenEye 007 this week? Let us know across our social media channels.
