Gran Turismo 7 PS5 Features Detailed In Gameplay Trailer

The next-gen features for Gran Turismo 7 have been revealed and how it will make the most of the PS5 unique capabilities.

Gran Turismo 7 will release on both PS4 and PS5. Obviously, on the new-gen console, players can expect to see improved visuals, performance, and 3D Audio. However, there will be more to the PS5 version of GT7, in particular with the DualSense controller functions.

In a new gameplay video, we hear from series legend and developer, Kazunori Yamauchi. He talks about how this version of Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 is the closest the series has to realising his vision of a sim racing game.

Other than the obvious visual and performance issues, it seems that developers at Polyphony Digital will be going all-in on the DualSense controllers Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers. He talks about how you feel the brake of each car and the power as you accelerate to take the lead.

In truth, we can only take Yamauchi’s word on the DualSense controller, because we won’t truly know how it feels until we play the game. But it all sounds promising. Yamauchi also spoke of how ray-tracing technology will make cars look more realistic than ever before when taking photos in the Scapes mode.
