Here’s Our First Look At PSVR2 With New Horizon Game

The PlayStation VR2 was finally announced and with it was our first look at how good the games for the headset will look.
Along with the PSVR2 announcement was the reveal of a new Horizon game from Guerrilla Games, which is also co-developed with Firesprite Games.

“Created for PlayStation VR2, this unique experience has been designed to push hardware technology, innovation, and gameplay,” said series creator Jan-Bart Van Beek. “The stunning visuals and brand-new PS VR2 Sense controllers give a new meaning to being fully immersed into the world of Horizon.”
We were only treated to a very small snippet of captured in-game footage, so we’re not sure how the game will play just yet. However, I would imagine that the PSVR2 would make use of using a bow and arrow, as well as climbing the environments.
We also know that in Horizon Call of the Mountain, you will not be playing as Aloy. However, we will meet her at some point during the campaign.

At this time, we don’t have a launch date for Horizon Call of the Mountain nor do we for the PSVR2, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this will be a launch title for Sony’s new VR headset.
