House of the Dead Remake is Coming to Nintendo Switch

Classic arcade on-the-rails shooter House of the Dead is getting a remake for the Nintendo Switch.

Published by Forever Entertainment and developed by MegaPixel Studio, the remake of this beloved classic aims to release by the end of this year.

However, that is not all because House of the Dead 2 is also getting a remake, though we have no other details as of yet.

Originally published by SEGA, the House of the Dead remake looks to have all the DNA from the original game, only with a modern makeover with improved visuals, gameplay, and more.  As expected the remake will also make use of the Nintendo Switch’s motion controls, which should make for a perfect fit for the shooter.

It’s unknown at this time as to whether House of the Dead will release on other platforms, but for now expect it to be Nintendo Switch only.
