There is no other way to say it, but L.A. Noire‘s emotions system was not the masterpiece that the developer promised, and definitely not the one that many expected it to be. And while many of you may have already pressed square, because you doubt that such was the case, deep inside you, you know that L.A. Noire’s interrogations were as counter-intuitive as Soviet Katyusha’s manual – and this is exactly why L.A. Noire’s remaster, will feature an overhauled interrogations system.

In game, players will no longer have to doubt, trust, or lie, as the remaster of the 2010’s renowned noire crime thriller, will now have you pick between playing the good cop, bad cop, or simply as the accuser. And that’s because Doubt and Trust, have been replaced with the Good Cop and Bad Cop, and lie has been switched for ‘Accuse’. Meaning that you will no longer have to regret your decision, as the last-gen original’s choices often led to misleading, and at times extremely surprising outcomes.

All the above information has been showcased within the title’s most recent trailer, which has also presented Nintendo Switch exclusive features, which included touching the screen, and wiggling the controllers – so nothing new here. However, while Switch’s users are fairly new to rubbing one out, the same cannot be said about the PlayStation 4 players, as many titles on that platform use the controller’s touch-pad for numerous in-game actions. So, in short, it is likely that many touch ad gyroscope related features will also be present on the PlayStation 4.

L.A. Noire, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch, in all its late 1940’s glory, just next week. As the title in question is set to make its debut on all the above-mentioned platforms on the 17th of November, and you can pre-order it from multiple retailers for the less than £30 (or closer to £40 on the Switch).
