Lego Dimensions – Goonies and Lego City packs dated for May
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that the packs included in Wave 8 for Lego Dimensions are set to release May 12th. Arriving in May will be The Goonies Level Pack, Harry Potter Fun Pack and the Lego City Fun Pack.
In The Goonies Level Pack, you will re-live some of the movies iconic moments, such as helping Sloth and Chunk escape the Fratelli hideout, and join the rest of your Goonies gang as you search for One-Eyed Willy’s (seriously that still makes me laugh) treasure. With The Goonies Level Pack, you will also be able to utilise Sloth’s Super Strength to smash through walls and objects or even use Chunks most devastating power, the power of the infamous Truffle Shuffle!
In terms of buildable objects, along with the awesome Sloth and Chunk mini-figures, you can build One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship, which can be rebuilt into the Fanged Fortune and Inferno Cannon. Additionally the Skeleton Organ equipped with its Solar Powers, can be rebuilt into a Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey. The Goonies Level Pack will also add an extra Battle Arena and Adventure World with Mikey’s House, the Inferno Cave and the Good Docks.
The Harry Potter Fun Pack will include a Hermione mini-figure with her Wingardium Leviosa and Lumos powers. She will also include a 3-in-1 rideable Buckbeak the Hippogriff, which can be rebuilt into a Giant Owl and Fierce Falcon. The Lego City Fun Pack will include a Chase McCain mini-figure, who can also pose as a Miner to break Silver Bricks or a Fireman to put out, well, fires. Chase also comes equipped with a 3-in-1 Helicopter, which can be rebuilt into a Police Hovercraft and Police Plane.
All these newly announced Lego Packs will be available from May 12th; in the meantime you can watch the newest trailer and check out a batch of new screenshots below.
