Limited Edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro Announced and New Story Trailer Released

As expected, Sony has announced a Limited Edition PS4 Pro console for Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games which is set to release later this year.  The Limited Edition console is in a bright red or as the press release called it “Amazing Red”, it has a 1TB hard drive, a DualShock 4 wireless controller that matches the console, a physical copy of the game and a DLC code for The City that Never Sleeps.

Personally, while I do kinda like the look of the console, I’m a bit disappointed that it’s all red with just the white Spidey logo.  I would have liked to have seen some blue featured, perhaps with a web patterning.  It’s nice in a basic way, but a little more thought and detail could have made this console truly epic.  But hey, that’s just my opinion.

However, that is not all, because we also got a brand new story trailer that featured more of Miles Morales and Mary Jayne working together with Peter Parker.  We also get our first look at Silver Sable, and Norman Osborn plays a prominent role in the trailer, and if I’m not mistaken, we may have seen a very quick glimpse of Kingpin?  As an added bonus, we also have a trailer showcasing the Velocity Suit, which is included in the pre-order Spidey Suit Pack DLC.

We’ve also learned that John Paesano will be the composer for the game; Paesano has worked on the likes of Daredevil and Defenders on the Netflix series’, as well as videogames such as Mass Effect: Andromeda and Detroit: Become Human.

Marvel’s Spider-Man will release exclusively for PlayStation 4 on September 7th this year.
