New Tomb Raider Game Releasing Next Year, But it’s Not What You Hope

Square Enix has announced that a new Tomb Raider game is releasing in 2021, however it’s perhaps not what we hoped it would be.

We don’t know too much about Tomb Raider Reloaded which is developed by Emerald City, however we do know that it’s a free-to-play-mobile game.

Described as an “action arcade” game Tomb Raider Reloaded is developed by the same team that brought us the mobile game G.I Joes: War on Cobra.

To announce Tomb Raider Reloaded a new cinematic teaser trailer was released which can be found below.

 

Sadly despite this announcement there is no news on a next-gen Tomb Raider game, however before that happens I think we’re far more likely that we’ll get the three last-gen Tomb Raider games in some form of trilogy collection.
