Yesterday during the Nintendo Direct, it has been announced that the Nintendo Wii U’s Super Mario 3D World is getting re-released for the Nintendo Switch, confirming previous rumours. This seems to be a quite basic port, it least in terms of visuals and performance, but the game will be making use of the Joy-Con’s motion controls.
However, it will also get new content with this re-release, because it will feature local and online multiplayer, as well as brand new levels that will revolve around the big bad Bowser.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will release for the Nintendo Switch on February 12th, 2021. Are you looking forward to this re-release? Let us know across our social media channels.
