Bethesda has announced that the next-gen version of the MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online will arrive for PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S on June 8th.

The next-gen version of ESO will have two performance modes, one which runs at 60fps, but will lower the resolution, and Fidelity Mode which has a native 4K but runs at 30fps.

ESO on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will also have increased Draw Distance by nearly double the amount as it was on last-gen consoles.

The loading times of ESO have also been improved, which is said to be cut in half, allowing you to jump into the world of Tamriel even faster than before.

Other next-gen improvements include better lighting, shadows, depth of field, antialiasing, and more.  Added details on the improvements made to the next-gen port of ESO can be found here.

You can also see some of the next-gen improvements in motion by watching the comparison gameplay video game.
