Films and TV Watched –
Thor, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Easy A, Fast 5, Orphan, various anime’s (Naruto, Bleach etc)

Best Pickup of the month –
For me it would have to be FFVII Dirge of Cerberus because I got it in almost mint condition for just under £5

What have you been up to? –
I have been saving up my MS points and spending alot of them on various games like From Dust, Street Fighter 3rd Strike etc. I also bought the two DLC’s for Dragon Age 2 which are proving to be points well spent. I have also been playing Gears of War 2 to scrape up the last of the available online achievements before everyone migrates to GoW 3 coming out in just over 2 weeks!

Best moment from a game this month –
My favourite moment playing a game this month was while me and Daniel Pepper where playing GoW 2. While playing online and on Horde we both managed to keep getting easy headshots with lancers which is technically impossible since the game mechanics don’t alow automatic weapons to do that. I call that some epic unintentional hacking haha.

First online gaming experience –
I believe my first Xbox Live experience was playing my first round of warzone on Gears of War with my school friends who were in the game and thinking this is truly awesome!

What have you been up to? –
This month has again been quite varied, though I’ve tried to start watching more movies. I also added my complete Official Dreamcast Magazine collection to my house (parents found them in their attic) as well as lots of old GameCube and GameBoy ones. Really enjoyed the Bungie documentary about the Halo Series, remembering the feeling of playing the original for the first time, therefore getting me hyped up for Anniversary. In terms of games, Dead To Rights Retribution really surprised me. I went into it not expecting much but it turned out to be quite a good shooter. Sure the levels were a little too long and the shooting wasn’t the tightest, but there was a lot of variety with the mix of levels where you would play as Shadow the dog, mixing up the shooting with some stealth. The atmosphere really reminded me of Max Payne, very gritty….figures, since the original games were quite clearly inspired from those games. It was nice to revisit Space Channel 5, and had a good quirky time with the first season of Pushing Daisies.

Best scene from a film this month –
A lot of scenes from Inception were quite fantastic in terms of action, but the one that stands out is the corridor fight, where the gravity is constantly changing.

First online gaming experience –
I was there launch day of Xbox Live! After popping down to the shops to buy a Starter Kit with my install disc and headset I set to work on Unreal Championship, plus the other demos on the disk including Mech Assault and Moto GP.

Best Pickup of the month –
Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Been after this game for soooo long, and I finally have it 😀

What have you been up to? –
Apart from being promoted to Editorial Chief of the PlayStation department for Push-Start (HIGH FIVE!), I celebrated my birthday at the beginning of the month by going out in fancy dress with 20+ friends of mine downtown, with me as Captain America. Others included Green Lantern, Iron Man, Batman, the whole roster from Wizard of Oz, Superman, and Katy Perry. Fantastic night. The rest of the month has been fairly uneventful, working hard for the site as well as working hard so I’ve got monies to waste.

Best moment from a game this month –
The last boss fight in Portal 2. Epic!

First online gaming experience –
Mine would have to be Tekken 5: Resurrection on PSN. God knows how many hours I got my ass kicked before I got any good.

Games Completed this Month –
Guitar Hero Warriors Of Rock

Films and TV Watched –
Home Alone 2, Cheaper By the Dozen 2, Doctor Who, Han Cock

Best Pickup of the month –
Well I guess it Guitar Hero x) I still prefer Rock Band by miles but this Game brings back the old feel Guitar Hero had.

What have you been up to? –
Lately i’ve been camping and just chilling really. Go back to college at some point and then just be doing my normal routine of College…TV, Xbox…etc.

Best moment from a TV show this month –
Hmm I’m not entirely sure, I never really pick one that is my favourite but I guess that if I had to pick something it would be from Supernatural (TV Show) when Dean has the lucky rabbit foot and then says ‘I’m Batman!’. Classic moment for us Supernatural fans xD

First online gaming experience –
The first play I had online on Xbox Live was Perfect Dark Zero with Daniel. We had priceless moments on that game 🙂

Edward – Film Critic

Films and TV Watched –
Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Cowboys and Aliens, The Inbetweeners Movie (urghhhhhh!), Arrietty, Super 8, Sucker Punch (blu ray), The Guard.

Best Pickup of the month –
Source Code

What have you been up to? –
More of the same and the Overdues keep coming.

Favourite scene from a film this month –
Sucker Punch: Opening Sequence, Zack Snyder orchestrates compelling images and sound in an otherwise flawed mess of a movie.

First online gaming experience –
Avatar the Game Online Multiplayer, wierd AMP suits were controllable but no decent controllable Pandoran creatures (the fact that the Banshee’s had no attacks is a mistake beyond reason).

Games Completed this Month –
Erm…none. Shameful I know but in truth I have to way to many games to play and more on the way (Dead Island yayyy and NHL 12 yayyyyy)

Films and TV Watched –
Dorian Gray (2009 version), Winnie The Pooh (2011) and Shaun of the Dead. Not really any TV watched to be honest, I never do.

Best Pickup of the month –
Definitely has to be Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the original Xbox that I found in Gamestation for a little £1.99, I was a very happy chappy.

What have you been up to? –
Not a lot to be honest, playing games, seeing my girlfriend, seeing my friends and watching some films. Oh I also went to Forbidden Planet in London. Best. Store. Ever!

First online gaming experience –
Mario Kart DS on my well…DS. We had just got a wireless router which to me was an amazing little thing that sent the internet all around the house. So awesome.
