Following the Xbox One reveal, Ubisoft have revealed that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will be available for the new console later this year.

Ubisoft have also confirmed that at least six new titles will be released in the next twelve months.

The details of the new titles are kept tightly under under-wraps, however, Ubisoft have said that they will be creating new IPs and digital titles, as well as expanding on existing franchises.

Microsoft’s “all-in-one” console aims to deliver new experiences to users. Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO of Ubisoft, said: “The next generation of consoles will invigorate our industry and make it possible for us to deliver incredible new entertainment to gamers”.

Quite what this “incredible new entertainment” will mean is unclear, but expect a lot of tacked on motion-based shenanigans and voice-activated gimmickry in Edward Kenway’s up-coming naval adventure.
