Usually, the Pokémon Go Fest is an event that takes place in specific locations in the world, with previous locations including Dortmund, Yokohama and Chicago.  However, with the CONVID-19 pandemic sweeping through our lives, the recently planned Liverpool festival was restructured so that fans could enjoy the event from home, rather than gathering in the 1000’s.

Previously, fans who bought tickets could only take part in one of the two scheduled days.  However, the Pokémon Go Fest is to be re-imagined so that not only can we enjoy the event from the comfort of our own homes or out and about with social distancing, all players that buy tickets for this virtual event, can enjoy both days of the two-day event.

The Pokémon Go Fest will take place on Saturday July 25th and Sunday, July 26th, where players can encounter new and already established Pokémon, as well as taking part in new Special Research tasks.  That’s all we have to tell you right now, but developer Niantic have promised further details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
