According to a rumour, Assassin’s Creed games set in Japan, as well as Eastern Europe, will be announced this weekend.

This weekend, Ubisoft has promised to reveal the future of the Assassin’s Creed series in a special showcase at Ubisoft Forward. We already know that the next game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be revealed. However, AC fans might have even more news to look forward to.

According to a report from the reliable Bloomberg outlet, the two rumoured Assassin’s Creed projects will revolve around the also rumoured, live-service Assassin’s Creed Infinity. One game is said to be set in Japan, while the other is apparently set during the witch trials of the Holy Roman Empire.

Furthermore, the Bloomberg report also claims that both games won’t release until sometime in 2024, at the earliest. Obviously, we must take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt. Thankfully, all will be revealed this weekend (hopefully).

Ubisoft Forward will take place this Saturday, September 10th. Details on the event can be found here. Are you looking forward to more Assassin’s Creed goodness? Let us know across our social media channels.
