Assassin’s Creed Mirage was finally revealed over the weekend at Ubisoft Forward. As expected, the lead character will be Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Sadly, the release date was CGI with no actual gameplay. Hopefully, that gameplay reveal will be arriving soon.

The game will be set in Iraq, Baghdad and it will take place 20 years before the events of Valhalla. It also seems to be a rags-to-riches story and gave me proper Aladdin vibes. Basim will be inducted into the Hidden Ones and his master will be Roshan, played by Shohreh Aghdashloo.

No release date was given for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. However, we know it will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.
