Assassins Creed Showcase Ubi Forward 2022 Blowout
Assassin’s Creed is finally going to Japan
During the Assassin’s Creed Showcase over the weekend, it was finally revealed that the series will be going to Feudal Japan.
Not much is known about the Japanese venture. However, we know it will be a full release in the Assassin’s Creed series and it’s got a simple “Red” codename. Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red will be developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the same studio that brought us AC Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Japan won’t release if rumours are true until 2024. Furthermore, if this game isn’t released until 2024, it might be safe to assume that it will launch for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity is finally revealed
Ubisoft finally revealed the heavily rumoured Assassin’s Creed Infinity over the weekend. However, it might not be what some expected.
Many rumours were circulating that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be a live service game. However, despite Ubisoft being very vague on the details, it seems that Infinity might be a launcher hub of sorts.
Ubisoft says that Infinity will connect the Assassin’s Creed universe in “meaningful ways”. Ubisoft also revealed that it is looking at ways to bring multiplayer back to the series and it will be a part of the Unity hub. If released, the multiplayer offering will be a standalone game.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe announced
Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe was an unexpected reveal at Ubisoft Forward and it’s probably the game we know the least about.
The reveal trailer simply showed a Hexe symbol made of sticks dangling from a tree, very reminiscent of the Blair Witch. It would be safe to assume that this Assassin’s Creed game will feature witches and elements of horror.

Codename Hexe is developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the same studio that brought us Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Speaking of Valhalla, it will be receiving its final piece of free DLC in the near future.
The final piece of DLC is fittingly called “The Last Chapter” and while little is known about the DLC, it is said to tie up remaining storylines as well as reunite Eivor with some key characters. At this time, we do not have a release date for The Last Chapter.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade coming to mobile
Rumours were making the rounds that the series will be returning to China, and it will be with Codename Jade.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade won’t be a main entry in the series, instead, it will be an open-world mobile game. Set in ancient China, Codename Jade is promised to have the “iconic” Assassin’s Creed gameplay, optimised for mobile devices with touch controls. It will also allow the players to create and fully customise their own characters.

No release date was revealed for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, other than it will be “coming soon”. Finally, Ubisoft also reiterated that an Assassin’s Creed live-action series is coming to Netflix, along with the anime from the creator of the Castlevania series. A second mobile game is also in development and will be exclusive to the Netflix mobile app. Ubisoft promises that this Netflix game will have no in-app purchases.
