The Ostara Festival is now live in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and we’ve got a release date for the first expansion to enhance your Viking adventure!

Season two begins with the Ostara Festival and it brings new events in your settlements, mini-games, and unique goodies to unlock.

This limited-timed event will bring mini-games such as Drinking (yes, more), Archery, and Fighting!  They’ll also be three new quests including the May-Queen Celebration, an Egg Hunt just in time for Easter, and protect your settlement from ghastly spirits!

Three new skills will also arrive: “Fearless Leaper lets Eivor land a mastered falling attack atop enemies, while the Raven’s Loot and Loot Food skills increase Eivor’s efficiency when at range or fighting close-up.

In addition to the Ostara Festival, the highly requested feature allows you to change your gear and armour in-game, but you’ll still be able to retain your stats so that you can stick to your Eivor build regardless.

According to the official press release: “Once a piece of gear or a weapon is found, its visuals can be equipped in exchange for silver by visiting the Blacksmith in Ravensthorpe if the item is from the same category.

Finally, Ubisoft has announced the release date for the first expansion to arrive for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla which will take you to Ireland with Wrath of the Druids.

In Wrath of the Druids: “April, players will journey to Ireland and unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult, tracking and discovering their members. Diving into Gaelic myths and folklores, they’ll need to fight their way through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes while gaining influence among Gaelic kings.

Wrath of the Druids will release on April 29th as a standalone purchase or at no extra cost to season pass holders.

In our review of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, we said if: “The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag got together and had a baby, Valhalla would be its love child.
