Asterix & Obelix XXL2 Remastered Announced

The classic comic icons Asterix & Obelix will be once again making their return to gaming with the remastered Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 game.  It will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 29th of November and will come with a bunch of new additions and improvements.

There will be 2 editions released for the game, a limited edition and a collector’s edition. The limited edition will include the game and figurines of Asterix, Obelisk and Dogmatix. The Collector’s edition on the other hand will of course come with the game, but will also include an exclusive Asterix figurine made out of resin, and a T-shirt with two lithographs.

Some of the features of the remastered edition includes enhanced graphics, with new textures and models for all characters as well as new textures and lighting for environments. The gameplay will benefit from some new additions as well, such as a new store system with new skills and combo techniques. Extras such as combat based challenges, in-game collectibles and a 3D model viewer will also be included.
