Atomic Heart the BioShock-inspired shooter delayed into 2023
Atomic Heart, the BioShock-inspired shooter, has been delayed into 2023. However, it has bagged itself a new publisher.
Initially planned to release this year, Atomic Heart has now been pushed back into next year to give the game more polish and so that the developer at Mundfish can deliver the best game possible.
Focus Entertainment is pleased to reveal its new partnership with the incredible team at @mundfish for #AtomicHeart.

Atomic Heart was first announced way back in 2017, so it’s already been in development for quite some time. However, with all that development time, hopefully, the game stands a better chance of living up to its potential.
Furthermore, with the backing of its new publisher, Focus Entertainment, the added financial backing and marketing support should be a great benefit.
It’s an honour to collaborate with a studio as talented as Mundfish,” says Julien Ramette, Chief Business Development Officer at Focus Entertainment. “We were amazed by Robert and his team’s creative minds as soon as we started exchanging. The AAA standards they’ve provided for their first game is truly an accomplishment. Atomic Heart is sure to honour all players in search of an original, new generation experience.”
At this time, we do not have a solid release date, however, Mundfish plans on announcing it in the near future. Are you looking forward to this BioShock-inspired action RPG FPS? Let us know across our social media channels.
Atomic Heart will release for PC, PlayStation and Xbox in 2023.
