WB Games and Turtle Rock Studios is finally fixing the solo offline campaign, and details of the upcoming free and paid content have been revealed.

Right now, playing Back 4 Blood solo offline is pretty much a pointless process, as you cannot earn any progression. Which is a crazy oversight. This isn’t an issue playing the campaign co-op online, as you will earn XP progression in every mode that you play.

Thankfully that solo progression issue will soon be fixed as revealed in a post-launch content update. A wealth of free content is coming to Back 4 Blood from this month, as well as details being revealed for the paid Annual Pass.

Free content arriving to Back 4 Blood

Arriving this November:

  • Quality of Life improvements
  • Major Bug Fixes
  • December:
  • All New Features: New Supply Lines, Ridden Practice Area, Holiday Seasonal Event
  • Solo Offline with Campaign Progression
  • New Card Type
  • All-New Cards

2022:

  • New Difficulty
  • New Player Cards
  • New Corruption Cards
  • New Co-Op Mode
  • Melee Updates
  • Quality of Life Improvements

Content coming to the paid Annual Pass in 2022

  • Expansion 1: Tunnels of Terror (2022)
  • Expansion 2 (2022)
  • Expansion 3 (2022)
  • Also, New Cleaners, New Ridden, Activity Type, Weapons, Cards and Exclusive Skins

So there you have it, there’s some of the content coming to Back 4 Blood this year and beyond. Though to be fair, the Annual Pass content is vague, but at least we know three expansions are coming next year.

Back 4 Blood is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
