Bloober Team Working with a “Very Famous” Horror Game Publisher

The Medium, Layers of Fear and Blair Witch developer Bloober Team have claimed that they are working with a “very famous gaming publisher”.

In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said: “In fact, we’ve been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we’re doing this with a very famous gaming publisher.”

Babieno continued: “I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited.“

Since this claim was made rumours have been running rampant that Bloober Team might be working with Konami on one of the rumoured Silent Hill reboots.

At around the same time of the Bloober Team rumours, reports were making the rounds on the internet that Konami might be outsourcing their leading IPs to development studios outside of the publisher.

Personally I’m not sure how I feel about the prospect of Bloober Team developing a Silent Hill game.  Sure their games aren’t bad, but they’re not great either, they’re just ok in my opinion.

However the main issue that I’ve found with most horror games from Bloober Team is problems with pacing, Blair Witch in particular just didn’t know when to end.
