Call of Duty – Here’s what Ghost looks like and how Soap got his name

Have you ever wondered what Ghost looks like under the mask and how Soap got his name in Call of Duty? Well, now you’ll know.

Thanks to a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 dataminer by the name of Reddit user Crafty-Astronomer905, we now know what Simon “Ghost” Riley looks like without his signature balaclava. Take a look-see at the image below.

What’s more, as pointed out by Eurogamer, Ghost’s face is modelled after his voice and motion-capture actor, Samuel Roukin. This is a common trend in the Call of Duty series.

Oh, and if you’ve ever wondered why John MacTavish got his nickname “Soap” it’s due to his reputation of “cleaning house” with “remarkable speed and accuracy in room clearance techniques and urban warfare tactics.” So, I guess we’ve learned something new today. That’s unless you already knew. In which case, you’re none the wiser.

The latest entry in the CoD series is the reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and in my review, I said it: “brings yet another action-packed, high-octane entry that will keep fans entertained for months to come, whether you’re here for the single player or especially for the multiplayer.”
