The constant large updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are increasingly getting difficult to manage our hard drive spaces, even for those with upgraded storage space.  However, this latest updates which comes in at around 22GB to 36GB depending on whether you own Modern Warfare or Free-to-Play Warzone, this particular update might just be worthwhile.  The newest update which is available now, will bump up the 150-player cap in Warzone to 200 players in battle royale, which also makes it possible to have an impressive 50 teams of four in Quads mode.

New contracts have also been introduced with Supply Run Contracts, which gives you a discount at the Buy Station, should you make it to the location within the set time limit, and Spotter Scope will allow you to plan ahead and scout the Verdansk map by marking targets and enemies without being detected.

Finally in Warzone is Juggernaut Royale, which unlike the standard Warzone battle royale modes, a single heavily armoured Juggernaut suit with a Gatling Gun will be placed in the map for players to acquire, which not only tears through players, but also vehicles too.  However, if the Juggernaut wearing player is killed and thrown into the Gulag, a new Juggernaut suit will be thrown back into Verdansk for players to fight over.

For those that prefer to play multiplayer modes of the more traditional nature, Modern Warfare players (who can of course also play Warzone) will be gifted with the new Cheshire Park map, set in urban London.  Modern Warfare will also be getting Team Defender mode, a take on Domination/Capture the Flag, where players must capture and hold a single flag to earn your team the valuable points, as well as earning extra points whenever the flag carrier id downed.

Finally, a new weapon will be introduced in the update with the Rytec AMR, semi-automatic/anti-material rifle, which Activision are describing as “one of the deadliest” rifles in the game and makes its debut with this update.

Well that concludes the highlights for the latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone.  Are you looking forward to playing a 200-player battle royale mode?  Let us know across our social media channels.  You can also read our review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare here.
