Striking Distance Studios has released a new trailer for The Callisto Protocol that explores the origins of its Black Iron Prison setting.

Black Iron Prison is a maximum security facility located on Jupiter’s moon. However, in The Callisto Protocol, the inmates may be the least of your concerns. Well, apart from the fact that most of them are turning into horrific monsters.

The Callisto Protocol is from the minds that developed the original Dead Space games, and it’s a fact that the developers wear proudly on its sleeves. This is the “story-driven survival horror” spiritual successor to Dead Space 2 that we’ve been waiting for.

Speaking of Dead Space, the original game is getting a full remake and it releases on PC and new-gen consoles on January 27th, 2023. What a time to be a sci-fi horror fan!
