Capcom Confirms Free Resident Evil Village DLC Is Coming

Capcom has confirmed that free Resident Evil Village DLC is on the way.
Earlier in the year during a Resident Evil Village showcase, Capcom confirmed that the latest game in the iconic horror series will be getting DLC.
It’s safe to assume that Resident Evil Village might get a story expansion, however, we do now know that some of the DLC will be free. The news was revealed during a recent Capcom financial report.
The report reads: “Further, we will drive our customer management to understand the playing trends and preferences of users while also building a business model for online operations, taking into account the situation of our free additional DLC for titles such as Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil Village.”

We don’t know what the free DLC will be, but at the very least it might expand upon the fun Mercenaries mode. We shall wait and see.
