Capcom has seemingly teased a Street Fighter announcement for the series’ 35th anniversary.
At quick glance, the English-speaking social media announcements do not seem to be teasing much, other than celebrating the upcoming anniversary. However, it’s the Japanese social media accounts that have drawn attention.
HERE COMES A NEW ANNIVERSARY!

As spotted by VGC, the Japanese Street Fighter account tweeted “Street Fighter will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022. “We have created a logo to celebrate the 35th anniversary with our supporters. Please look forward to the future development of the Street Fighter series.”
Which to me, reads like a new Street Fighter game might be announced in the near future. Only time will tell.
