Electronic Arts and Motive has released an impressive CG trailer for the forthcoming Star Wars: Squadrons, which is set to release in just a few short weeks.
In this cinematic trailer, it acts as a prequel to the campaign of the game, which takes place following the events in the wake of the second attack on the Death Star from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. In Star Wars Squadrons, you will play as pilots from both sides of the war between the Rebel Alliance and The Empire.
Star Wars: Squadrons will not only have a singleplayer campaign, but will also have a big focus of multiplayer dogfights on both sides of the war, piloting some of the most iconic ships from the franchise, including the X-Wing and Tie Fighter, to name but two.
Star Wars: Squadrons will also have a budget cost of £34.99/$39.99 at launch, it will also be compatible with a number of flight sticks and will be playable using VR. The game will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 2nd.
