Publisher for the PC version of Death Stranding 505 Games, and CD Projekt Red has announced crossover content to Hideo Kojima’s latest game.

The free content will arrive on the PC version of Death Stranding via update 1.05 and is available now.  The update will give players access to some new funky content such as:

  • Cyberpunk 2077 themed Reverse Trike vehicle
  • Johnny Arm” modeled after Johnny Silverhand’s robotic arm that can be equipped and used in game
  • New holograms and a “Trauma Team” floating vehicle hologram for certain constructions
  • Several fashion items including Johnny Silverhand’s sunglasses

As a PlayStation gamer and considering that Death Stranding was once an exclusive on PS4 it’s somewhat disappointing to see this content being exclusive to PC.

So when a fan on Twitter asked Kojima Productions: “I don’t play on PC but it would be cool to see on the PS4 version eventually. Would love to have those extra missions and other content. Same for the Half Life content also.

The Kojima Productions Twitter page replied: “Currently, the collaboration is exclusive to the PC version only. We’ll have more announcements coming in the near future, stay tuned!

While I don’t expect to see the Half-Life content coming to Death Stranding on PlayStation (though it would be nice), hopefully the response from Kojima Productions might mean that the Cyberpunk 2077 content will at least arrive on PlayStation one day.
