Finally, the first Cyberpunk 2077 expansion has been announced with Phantom Liberty set to release in 2023.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will introduce a new area to Night City with a new cast of characters which V will get to know, for better or worse. However, Phantom Liberty will only release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Meaning that PS4 and Xbox One will be completely skipped.

I know it sucks that Cyberpunk 2077 players on PS4 and Xbox One will miss out on the expansion. However, given the shit show launch on last-gen for the main game, perhaps it might not be the worst decision in the world.

Oh, and by the way, Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand will return in Phantom Liberty. Happy days! Details were also revealed for the Edgerunners Update, named after the upcoming anime series coming to Netflix on September 16th. Details on Patch 1.6 can be found here.
