Dawn Of Ragnarok Is The Epic Expansion Coming To Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

As the rumours previously suggested, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting a huge expansion and it arrives next year.
Dawn of Ragnarok will all be about Norse mythology, its Gods, myths, and legends. It is said that the location of this expansion will be about a third of the main map in Valhalla. Furthermore, the expansion is expected to be around 35 to 40 hours in campaign length. However, as my OCD can’t help but search every corner of any map, I expect that to treble for the likes of me.

In the story of Dawn of Ragnarok: “Eivor must embrace their destiny as Odin, the Norse god of Battle and Wisdom. The dwarven kingdom of Svartalfheim is crumbling, and amid the chaos, Odin’s beloved son, Baldr, has been taken prisoner by the unkillable fire giant, Surtr. In Dawn of Ragnarök, players will be able to unleash new divine powers as they continue their legendary Viking saga by embarking on a desperate rescue quest through a mythological world of contrasts.”
However, there is more! Anyone that purchases Dawn of Ragnarok between now and April 9th, 2022, will be gifted with the Twilight Pack which will be available immediately in the main game. The Twilight Pack includes the Dellingr’s Envoy Raven Skin, the Havardr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear Set and the Algurnir Dane Axe Weapon.

As this expansion is part of Year 2, it will not be included in the season pass. All players will have to buy Dawn of Ragnarok separately. It has an RRP of £32.99/$39.99 via your preferred digital storefront.
In preparation for the expansion and the free Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey crossover DLC, an update will also go live today. A major benefit of the update is that it will reduce the overall install size. However, you will need to delete your install and reinstall it again. But you will not have to delete your save file or DLC.

Title Update 1.4.1 launches next week.
As part of a data restructuring, players will have to reinstall the game files, resulting in overall smaller file size, faster loading screen times & improved performance.
