Dead by Daylight’s Halloween event will be ghoulishly fun

Dead by Daylight’s Halloween event has been announced and it brings the pumpkin ghoul goodness this month.

Haunted by Daylight celebrates every horror fan’s favourite time of the year and offers themed events, bonus challenges, free content and plenty of items to pick up in the store. The event will run from October 11^th to November 3^rd.

The Haunted by Daylight event will bring a new gameplay mechanic in its survivor vs killer mode. Players will need to gather and steal Void Energy to collect lovely skeleton shirts for the survivors, while the killer will be rewarded with sweet weapons. Like literally, weapons made of sweets.

The new Tome: Malevolence available from October 12^th brings:

A new Rift opens on October 12^th and with it a new Tome which features memories for beloved Killer Ghost Face, and Survivor Mikaela Reid. Players will have the chance to plummet into the devious mind behind the mask and discover what keeps a horror aficionado up at night with Tome 13: MALEVOLENCE. They’ll be able to dive into Ghost Face’s memories, as a local cartoonist parodies him in the local papers. OBVIOUSLY, this won’t stand.

“The Fog turns into a twisted playground for Horror fan favourite Ghost Face, and we’re happy to include him in our Halloween festivities, ” says Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “Ghost Face is a particularly terrifying enemy – being able to stalk his prey – and dedicated to striking Survivors down before they know what hits them and to have him as part of the Rift is a treat!” ​ Players will also be thrilled to uncover memories for Mikaela Reid – the feisty Survivor with a love of the macabre and the supernatural.

Players would be remiss not to take advantage of the tons of surprises that await them as they progress through the Rift, including Charms, Outfits and exclusive mask variations for Ghost Face.

In the store, players will be able to pick up new outfits for the survivors and killers courtesy of the Hallowed Blight Collection for a limited time from October 11^th to November 3^rd. This collection offers “Very Rare” outfits for The “Bursting with Fury” Oni and Albert “Blighted” Wesker

The Midnight Grove Collection offers two “Very Rare” outfits for Mikaela Reid and The Doctor. There will also be The Trick and Treats Collection featuring two “Very Rare” Halloween outfits for Jane Romero and Dwight Fairfield with Hollywood Glamour and Toilet Paper Mummy, respectively.

Furthermore, the Dead by Daylight lobby and loading screens will be befitting of the Halloween season. Additionally, players will also be rewarded with daily login bonuses during the Halloween event.

Finally, from October 27^th to November 1^st, Dead by Daylight will offer a free-to-play weekend making it the perfect opportunity to check out the popular asymmetrical multiplayer horror game.
