Dead Space Creators Announces New Horror The Callisto Protocol #TheGameAwards

A new development studio fronted by Glen Schofield, a former Call of Duty developer and more importantly creators behind the Dead Space series has just announced a new sci-fi horror game.

Striking Distance Studios has various members of the team that has worked on the survival horror Dead Space series.  So if EA isn’t going to give us a new Dead Space then it looks like The Callisto Protocol will more than make up that void.

In The Callisto Protocol the game is: “Set on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol is a next-generation takes on survival horror. The game challenges players to escape the maximum security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. A blend of horror, action, and immersive storytelling, the game aims to set a new bar for horror in interactive entertainment.”

The Callisto Protocol will be released for PC and consoles in 2022.
