Dead Space Remake Will Release “Early 2023”
During a developer livestream at the start of the weekend, Motive revealed that the Dead Space remake will release “early 2023”.
Before now, while neither EA nor Motive have revealed a release date, it was believed that the remake will be released later this year. However, a deep dive livestream revealed that is not the case.

The livestream took a look at the sound design and some of the gameplay mechanics of the remake. As well as checking out the new versions of the Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle weapons.
We also learned about the A.L.I.V.E system which is basically an AI that alters Isaac Clarke’s heart rate, breathing and dialogue. Essentially giving the impression that Isaac is reacting naturally to the scenarios in-game.

There’s a lot to take from the recent developer livestream, including another look at some early gameplay. So far, it looks great to me. Though I do hope that the game looks darker come release because it looks brighter than I expected. Though that’s just my personal preference.
You can check out the full livestream below, but sections of the livestream have also been broken up on the official Dead Space YouTube channel.
