Dino Crisis Developer “Heavily” Involved In Exoprimal Production
Remember that game revealed at State of Play that looked like Dino Crisis, but wasn’t Dino Crisis? Well, there’s a good reason why.
When the co-op multiplayer shooter Exoprimal was revealed at the State of Play, fans got excited thinking that we were witnessing the return of Dino Crisis. I too was one of those temporarily excited. Alas, it wasn’t Dino Crisis. Boo!
However, despite seeing a character that looked like Regina, that wasn’t Regina, Exoprimal does look like it might be fun at least. As it happens, there’s a good reason why Exoprimal seems to have some Dino Crisis DNA, and that’s because Dino Crisis 2 developer Hiroyuki Kobayashi is involved in its development.
The news of Kobayashi’s involvement was confirmed in a tweet by the producer and spotted by PlayStationLifestyle.net. Kobayashi has also been involved in the development of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.
Followers, hello.#Exoprimal‘s Producer, Ichiro Kiyokawa, and Director, Takuro Hiraoka, share an overview of the game’s team-based action, and provide an overview of gameplay.

Personally, with the Regina lookalike, dinosaurs, and portals, and now a Dino Crisis producer on board, Exoprimal feels all the more tormenting. Though I will still give it the benefit of the doubt.
Are you looking forward to Exoprimal and do you wish that Capcom would put us out of our misery and announce a Dino Crisis remake? Share your torment across our social media channels.
Exoprimal will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.
