Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Release Date Announced, Pre-Order bonus & Collector’s Edition
Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced its launch plans for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The Action RPG has fans waiting on the edge of their seats for any info coming out of Japan – and I’m one of them! Without further ado, the release date has been confirmed for the 17th January 2020. To go alongside this announcement, the publishing giant also revealed a variety of different physical and digital releases, to be made available at launch.
Standard physical Edition (digital only for PC) £49.99
- A standard copy, which won’t come with any additional content (though pre-order bonuses will be available at participating retailers). However, pre-ordering the standard version digitally will guarantee you the bonus – I’ve covered this in detail further down this article.
Digital Deluxe Edition – PS4, Xbox One & Steam £64.99

- Cooking Item that gives your character permanent Ki-ATK and HP Stat boosts

Also, a pre-order bonus was announced (detailed below) – though it appears all digital purchases will come with it, air on the side of caution with physical releases, as it will only be available at participating retailers.

- Early access to training with Bonyu – a new character designed by Mr. Akira Toriyama
- An original sub-quest, where we see how Goku’s friends celebrate his return from the planet Yardrat!
Finally, the Majin Buu Arc was officially confirmed, and to celebrate this, we were given a new trailer straight from the Tokyo Game Show, and some screenshots featuring Majin Vegeta, Majin Buu & Great Saiyaman!
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for PC on 17th January 2020.
