Dying Light 2 Delayed with No Release Window

Tis the season of delays or at least it seems and the latest to fall victim is Techland’s Dying Light 2.  The news was announced across their official social media channels and the game was set for release this spring, however, with this delay, comes no new release window.

In the statement found below, Techland stated that “We know you are awaiting the game eagerly, and we want to deliver exactly what we promised” and that they want to “deliver an experience that lives up to our own high standards and the expectations of you, our fans.

In just recent weeks, we’ve had the Final Fantasy VII Remake (April 10th), Marvel’s Avengers (September 4th) and Cyberpunk 2077 (September 17th) all being delayed.  However, as we always say, we’d rather a game release in the best state possible and considering how Techland still continue to support the original Dying Light with content five years after its release, Techland is most certainly a developer that’s earned my trust.

While no release window has been revealed for Dying Light 2, I think it’s still safe to assume that it will release this year for current and next-gen systems (hopefully).
