Rumours are making the rounds that EA has finally greenlit a new Fight Night game.

It’s crazy to think that the last Fight Night game was released over 10 years ago with Fight Night Champion for PS3 and Xbox 360. So, to say that a new game in the series is due is an understatement and now wonder boxing fans have been pleading for a new game.

The reports are courtesy of VGC. Sources claim to have internal emails from EA confirming that a new Fight Night has already begun development. However, it is believed that the Fight Night game has been put on hold so that EA can concentrate on releasing UFC 5 in 2022.

Allegedly, one of the internal emails reads: “We’re very excited about EA Sports UFC 5 and we want to eliminate the split focus that several members of our leadership team have had over the past while so we can solely focus on delivering migration and EA Sports UFC 5 at high quality.

It is also believed that this new Fight Night game won’t arrive until 2023, so expect to wait even longer for its release. However, while we wait for the new Fight Night, we have eSports Boxing Club set to release in 2022 and it looks incredible. Recently it was also announced that Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder were added to eSports Boxing Club.
