eFootball PES 2021 Season Update Available Now at a Budget Cost
With the world currently fighting off a pandemic, lives, business, the entertainment industry and just about everything else in existence has been affected. In the gaming industry, releases have been delayed and some developers have had to completely restructure. One of the many games impacted by the pandemic is the Pro Evolution Soccer series from Konami.
Earlier in the year both Konami and PES Developments announced that we will not be getting a proper full release from the PES series this year, even with the next-gen consoles on the horizon. The next-gen PES will be saved for next year where it will be moving from the Fox Engine to using Unreal Engine 4, which is an interesting choice to make.
So this year, rather than getting a full release, we’ll be getting eFootball PES 2021 Season Update. This is essentially the exact same game as PES 2020, apart from having a slightly different visual presentation, and the tweaks to the gameplay that have been made via a series of updates from PES 2020.
Today is the release date for eFootball PES 2021 Season Update, and it comes at a budget launch cost of £24.99/€29.99/$29.99, rather than being a full priced game. Better still, if you’re a returning player from PES 2020, you will get a whole host of loyalty bonuses including a load of special agents, including ones that feature Iconic Moment Players, supped-up versions of players that have additional XP bonuses for the team they represent. For example, the Iconic Moment Lionel Messi will have a stat boost if you’re MyClub team is set as Barcelona.
There are also Club Editions including Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Arsenal, which includes bonuses, such as additional Iconic Moment Agents. Also, it is worth mentioning, that if you purchase the Season Update through PES 2020 or PES 2020 Lite’s main menu, you will get a 20% discount until October 29th, 2020.
